Kindergarten students and teachers are enjoying Nature Exploration this year!  Each Wednesday morning we venture out to the woods behind our school for free exploration, learning activities and cooperative projects.

 

We have learned about safety rules, boundaries, cause and effect, living things and seasonal changes.  We have taken our math lessons, read-alouds, writing and science work to the woods with us.  Students absolutely LOVE Wednesday mornings in the woods!

We are currently seeking donations of rain/mud boots, wool socks and waterproof mittens to help make our experiences in the woods more enjoyable for all.
