Mrs. Corlett started teaching Kindergarten in 2009. Since then, she has taught every grade from Kindergarten through 6th grade in several different states. She was born and raised in Utah, but has extensive family ties in Maine. In 2015, Mrs. Corlett's dream came true. She moved to a farm in Maine, where she is close to her family roots.
She is the wife of a retired soldier and farrier, and proud mom of two boys: a college freshman and a high school senior.
Mrs. Corlett is happiest when she is outdoors. She dearly loves playing with her Percheron mare, little white donkey, hairy cat, and goofy lab. Watching birds at her bird feeder, gardening, hiking, cross country skiing, playing her violin, and laughing with friends are also some of her favorite things besides teaching.
