Fountas and Pinnell

We use the Fountas and Pinnell phonics curriculum to practice our basic skills. We learn about beginning and ending sounds, rhyming, word production, vowels/consonents, and much more.

Lucy Calkins Writing

We use the Lucy Calkins Units of Study for our writing curriculum. We learn how to draw/write stories using narrative, how-to, and informational text strategies.

Handwriting Without Tears

We use the Handwriting Without Tears strategies and curriculum to learn how to write our capital and lower case letters.

Lucy Calkins Reading

We love to read! We use lots of books to practice and grow our reading muscles. Mrs. Corlett reads lots of books out loud and we find lots of opportunities to study science and read.
